So we were approached at the beginning of May about opening a small ice cream and waffle shop just around the corner from the bakery. We figured “hey, why not?” every summer we have giant line-up for our ice cream. This way we can serve even more flavours and make ice cream sundaes. Which we just didn’t have space for .
Our aim was to be open before the May long weekend. We had 3-4 weeks to get everything together. We opend the original store in less than 2 months so it seemed like plenty of time.

There was lots of time and elbow grease spent after we closed the bakery scrubbing, paintng etc.
There was also lots of fun! Testing out different waffle recipes, topping ideas, sauces until we came up with the perfect combinations.
The Ice Cream and Waffle Haus is now open friday, saturday and sunday from 12-6. So come out and sit on our outdoor patio and enjoy a scoop of our own home made ice cream or a waffle made right in front of you. We also have a selection of cold drinks and candy inside so we hope their is a little something for everyone.
